I've been collecting images of skulls and triangles amongst other things for a while. So you can imagine that when I found the triangle shaped toggle clasp during one of my treasure excursions, I freaked!

I played around with different chains and charms until I was completely satisfied and this is what I came up with; one of my favorite bracelets! When I have it on, I feel edgy and mysterious... Available on Etsy

I finally decided to take The Right Brain Business Plan e-course. I've been wanting to take it for a long time and decided with all the changes coming ahead (uhhh..like giving birth in September) that it was time to put some order back into my business. What a better way than to have a plan? Especially a right brain plan! One that I can actually relate to. The e-course lasts 8 weeks and week 1 has just finished. So far I have gathered inspiring words out of magazines, written about what has worked so far in my business and listened to a guided meditation to help me visualize what I see for my business. I'll keep you posted on my progress and maybe inspire you to make your own right brain business plan!

Read the book! It's awesome :-)

Je suis présentement un cours sur internet qui me permettra de faire un nouveau plan d' affaire pour ma compagnie mais cette fois ci d'une façon qui m'inspire et qui me donnera le goût de le feuilleter. Parce que je ne vous cacherai pas que je n' ai jamais vraiment réouvert le plan d'affaire que j ai fais il y a 8 ans! Le résultat final sera un plan d'affaire fais avec l'hémisphère droit de mon cerveau, c'est à dire un plan d' affaire qui sera fait à partir de collages, de dessins, de visualisations et complètement inspiré! Le cours dure 8 semaines et je viens tout juste de terminer la semaine 1. Jusqu'à maintentant j'ai amassé des découpes de revues, écrit sur ce qui fonctionne déjà dans ma compagnie et écouté une méditation pour m'aider à avoir une image plus clair de ce que je souhaite voir dans le futur. Je vais vous tenir au courant de ma démarche et peut-être vous inspiré à faire votre propre Right Brain Business Plan.

Vous pouvez vous procurer le livre qui est vraiment génial!

Omg. Ça fait vraiment longtemps que je ne vous ai pas écrit! Bien des choses se sont passé depuis la dernière fois. Premièrement j ai pris des vacances d un mois en avril dernier avec mon copain. Nous sommes allés en Thailande avec une escale de 3 jours à Hong Kong. COUP DE COEUR pour Hong Kong, vraiment je rêve d y retourner bientôt. Ville propre, moderne, ou la culture chinoise et Anglaise se côtoient. La mode souvent d influence japonaise m a grandement inspiré, malheureusement ... ou heureusement je n ai pas pu beaucoup dépensé étant donné que je suis enceinte et que rien ne faisait! Donc côté vêtements je n ai pas ramené grand chose à part de l inspiration :-)

C'étais ma troisième fois en Thailande et la ville de Bangkok, j AIME ÇA! Donc nous sommes resté environ 5 jours avant de se rendre dans le sud pour se reposer pendant 18 jours sur la plage. N'étant pas spécialement une fille de plage, style bacon, je me suis trouvé d'autres activités. J ai lu sur mon balcon, lu encore sur mon balcon, j ai mangé, je me suis baigné, j ai encore mangé, j ai bu des smoothie, j ai lu et j ai dormi. Grosse vie sale! Lol! Nous sommes ensuite revenu a Bangkok pour une session de shopping d une semaine.

Un voyage inoubliable et de belles photos pour m en souvenir.

Omg!! I haven't written in such a long time!! A bunch of things have happened in the past months. First off I went for a month long trip to Thailand with my boyfriend. On our way over to Bangkok we first stopped in Hong Kong for 3 days. I totally fell in love with the city. It s clean and modern and simply stunning. The fashion is amazing, unfortunately ... or should I say fortunately I wasn't able to buy much clothing since I'm pregnant and that nothing fit me! So the only thing I brought back with me is an AMAZING pair of shoes and tons of inspiration.

We then headed off to Bangkok where we stayed 5 days before going down south to the beaches where we lounged around for 18 days. Met with a dear friend, ate... a lot... read, swam and had a merry old time. Came back to Bangkok for a 7 day shopping spree before coming back home.

My trip was unforgettable and here are some images to prove it!

This means we're looking at a future where ISPs will charge per byte, the way they do with smart phones. If we allow this to happen Canadians will have no choice but to pay MUCH more for less Internet. Big Telecom companies are obviously trying to gouge consumers, control the Internet market, and ensure that consumers continue to subscribe to their television services.

These Big Telecom companies are forcing small competing ISPs to adopt the same pricing scheme, so that we have no choice but to pay these punitive fees.

This will crush innovative services, Canada's digital competitiveness, and your wallet.

We urgently need to send a clear message to Ottawa, saying that we won't stand by while some of the most profitable companies in the country indiscriminately add new fees to our Internet bills. Enough is enough.

UPDATE: The Liberals and the NDP have now come out AGAINST Internet metering. We're winning, Canada - now onto the government in power!

I've been trying to sort out some things - Production - I'm having problems with production, I can't make the stuff fast enough - which is a nice problem I suppose. So I have someone coming to help me this Friday, I'm so excited!! I also have found contractors to do a bit of sewing for me. I have a lot of catching up to do!

Last night I went to see a show. Not any show...it was Karen Elson!!! Karen Elson... do you know who Karen Elson is? She is super... she is a super model, a super super model. She has been in international magazines and catwalks since she was a teenager. (she is now 31 btw)

She's the one that is different from all the other super models, she's a red head, she's edgy,she has the greatest smile, the oddest face... she's Karen Elson goddamnit!!! AND now she's on stage, a different kind of stage, not a catwalk, no, she's on a stage singing...with a band! AND SHE ROCKS!!!!

Her husband is Jack White (see The White Stripes or The Raconteurs),but that's not why she's amazing...They met in 2005 while on the set of The White Stripes Blue Orchid video... love at first sight. They have 2 children... who are probably as super as their 2 super parents.

Ok...so back to the show.
It was in honor of her debut album; The Ghost who walks.The show was presented in a tiny bar that wasn't even at full capacity.
I'm not too good at counting how many humans are in a crowd but I would say there weren't very many...95? I don't know but it was intimate to say the least.

Her presence was amazing. Her unusual beauty was captivating. Her voice was like honey and her band members were all way too cool.

The music is a mix of old country and late 60's or 70's rock? Hard to say for someone like me who isn't a walking music "wikipedia", however I do know that it is a genre I have never heard before.

The crowd loved every moment of this show and we all wanted more of Karen who was very sweet and gracious to her fans.

I was even lucky enough to be able to give her one of my English Rose necklaces through her tour manager. Hope she likes it!

Last April I worked on a costume for a Karl Wolf video, a liquid silver catsuit to be exact. You can notice one of the girls wearing it at the beginning and towards the end of the video.

Le mois d'avril dernier j ai conçu un costume "catsuit" couleur argent pour le nouveau videoclip de Karl Wolf. On peut voir une des figurantes le porter au début et vers la fin du video.

DIY studs and fringe shirt

Small diy project that you can easily accomplish with or without a sewing machine. What you'll need:

Shirt!
Thread
Needle or sewing machine
Fringe
Pins
Studs
Plyers

What to do:

Decide where you want to place the fringe
Cut needed length
Pin your fringe onto the shirt
Machine sew the fringe on with a zig zag stitch or simply hand sew
Place the studs along the fringe and close them tightly with plyers (be gentle!!)
